The Bold Fellowship program is for girls with an artistic inclination and a creative ambition, ages 18 – 23 years. It is an opportunity to learn, earn and find a place in the industry.

The Bold Fellowship is a 4 months, paid Fellowship program at Spread Design Barn, Bengaluru that will give three deserving girls deep knowledge, concepts and hands-on training and experience in Design related 2D and 3D studio skills.

Overall notional value of the commitment is Rs. 1,00,000/fellow.

On Completion of the Bold Fellowship
Fellows successfully completing the program will be awarded a Certificate and would also have an opportunity to work at Spread Design Barn.

The fellowship will be a 4-month program. This is how the process works:

1. Fill up the application form online at www.aboldbook.com and submit to us.
2. The Spread team will review the completed applications to create a shortlist that meets the eligibility criteria. To share for review with the selection panel.
3. Selected applicants will be invited for a personal interview with the selection panel.
4. Selected fellows will need to start as interns and learners at Spread Design Barn.
   On selection, each fellow will be required to submit an undertaking that they will not leave the training program without permission.
5. Each fellow will also be aligned to a guide/mentor from Spread Design and Innovation.
6. The Fellowship Program will be conducted 6 days a week, from 9 am to 6 pm at the Spread Design Barn.
7. The batch start date would be informed to the fellows through an email / call.

Fellowship Details:

Duration : 4 Months
Remuneration : Rs. 8000/Month and 1 meal for the working days of the week.
Boarding and lodging will be the responsibility of the fellow. However, assistance in helping the candidate identify accommodation may be provided under special circumstances.

Documents to be shared by the candidates :

All candidates submit scanned copies of essential certificates (educational, work experience) and Aadhar Card.
And Five pieces of creative work/ portfolio that the candidate has worked on.

QUALIFICATION

Candidates having passed Class XII/PUC are best suited for the fellowship. Preference will be given to candidates with higher education. A working knowledge of computers is necessary. Candidates with prior work experience in creative fields, or displaying a knack towards design will be preferred. An independent Creative Portfolio is a plus.

AGE

The candidates applying for the fellowship should be of 18 years to 23 years.

Ms. Sonia Manchanda, will be the secretary of the Guidance and Selection Panel.

The Fellowship Program will be conducted 6 days a week, from 9am to 6 pm at the Spread Design Barn.

The Spread Design Barn is India’s first independent design center, a training/ learning/ incubation/ creative co-working space.
